Equipment that may be required to extract cannabinoid CBD oil

When processing cannabis leaves and cannabis branches, a pulverizer is required for pulverization. The crushed hemp and ethanol were then fully stirred and fused using a glass reactor. Hemp is then separated using a centrifuge to filter out unwanted ethanol and hemp waste. The separated hemp crude distillate was distilled using a rotary evaporator or a falling film evaporator to obtain a distillate from which ethanol was removed. The distilled cannabinoids are then rectified using short-path distillation or molecular distillation for further purification. Finally, a chromatograph is used to perform final purification on the obtained rectified substance to obtain the desired cannabinoid.

Below I will briefly introduce the equipment involved above.
Glass reactor vessel: The reaction medium placed in the inner layer of the glass reactor can be used for stirring a reaction. The interlayer is circulated through cold and heat sources. The interlayer of the glass reactor can provide high-temperature reaction (the maximum temperature can reach 300 ° C); Reaction (minimum temperature can reach -80 ° C); glass reactor can be evacuated to do negative pressure reaction. And its unique design makes the test safer and more convenient.

Basket Centrifuge: A centrifuge is a machine that uses centrifugal force to separate components of liquid and solid particles or a mixture of liquid and liquid. Centrifuges are mainly used to separate solid particles from liquids in suspensions, or to separate two liquids of different densities in emulsions that are incompatible with each other (such as separating cream from milk); it can also be used to remove Liquids in wet solids, such as wet clothes with a washing machine; special super-speed tube separators can also separate gas mixtures of different densities;

Rotary evaporator equipment: Rotary evaporator can be used to recover and evaporate organic solvents. It uses a motor to drive the distillation flask to rotate. Since the still is rotating, zeolite can be avoided without bumping. At the same time, due to continuous rotation, the liquid adheres to the wall of the distiller, forming a liquid film, which increases the area of evaporation and accelerates the evaporation speed. It is common equipment in the laboratory. It is composed of motors, distillation flasks, heating pots, condensers, and other parts. It is mainly used for the continuous distillation of volatile solvents under reduced pressure. It is used in chemical, chemical, biomedical and other fields.
Falling film evaporator: Falling film evaporation is to add the material liquid from the upper box of the heating chamber of the falling film evaporator, and evenly distribute it into each heat exchange tube through the liquid distribution and film forming device. Under the influence of gravity and vacuum induction and airflow, Flow uniformly from top to bottom. During the flow, it is heated and vaporized by the shell-side heating medium, and the generated steam and liquid phase enter the separation chamber of the evaporator. After the vapor and liquid are fully separated, the steam enters the condenser to condense (single effect operation) or enters the next effect evaporator as The medium is heated for multi-effect operation, and the liquid phase is discharged from the separation chamber.

Short-path distillation kit:Short-path distillation is a distillation technique that involves the distillate travelling a short distance, often only a few centimeters, and is normally done at reduced pressure. A classic example would be a distillation involving the distillate travelling from one glass bulb to another, without the need for a condenser separating the two chambers. This technique is often used for compounds which are unstable at high temperatures or to purify small amounts of compound.
Molecular distillation: Also known as short-path distillation, molecular distillation is a newer liquid-liquid separation technology that has not been widely used in industrial production. Its application can solve a lot of problems that cannot be solved by conventional distillation technology.

Chromatograph: A chromatograph is a device used for chromatographic separation and analysis. Including sampling system, detection system, recording and data processing system, temperature control system and mobile phase control system. Modern chromatographs are characterized by stability, sensitivity, versatility and high degree of automation. There are gas chromatography, liquid chromatography and gel chromatography. These chromatographs are widely used for the analysis of certain contents of chemical products and polymer materials. Gel chromatography can also determine the molecular weight and distribution of polymer materials.

The above are the basic functions of these devices, of course, they can also be used for other purposes, I hope this article is useful to you!
